Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this program, our singers, and the JCC! We had a sold-out performance with close to 400 people in attendance.

South Bay Teen Idol is a three-part amateur vocal competition awarding a $2,500 prize to the best teen vocalist in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz Counties. In addition to the prize money, the 1st place winner will receive a recording session at Sound Management in San Jose, CA. See our prizes page for more details. Vocalists from all backgrounds competed for the top three prizes.

At the finals, the top 10 vocalists performed individual and group numbers. The judges chose the top three contestants, and then the audience voted for their favorite to become the 2013 South Bay Teen Idol. Thank you to this year's judges: Randy Jones, KRTY; Robert Hayes, CEO, Sound Management San Jose; and Ruth Pangilinan, Executive Producer at Three Doves Media and former General Manager of Broadway San Jose.

The South Bay Teen Idol Finals were held at the Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center (JCC) auditorium in Los Gatos.
