  • Wellness Fair
    Sunday, May 19th | 8:00am-4:00pm
    Fun and informative for all ages! Dozens of booths, activities and classes covering all aspects of wellness: health, safety, physical fitness, spiritual wellness, financial wellness, and more. Try fitness classes, sample healthy foods, learn about CPR, first aid and choking prevention, explore a fire truck (11:00am-1:00pm), ambulance and police car, learn from a variety of information booths, enjoy hands-on activities for children, and more. Classes run 8:00am-4:00pm, booths from 10:00am-4:00pm. Free admission. Please note, the JCC pool will be closed from 11:00am-3:00pm during this event, due to a swim meet.     Older adults, we need your wisdom and warmth to explore and impart our rich traditions to our preschool children. We will celebrate and discover together through examining Pirkei Avot  (Teachings of Our Fathers), holiday celebrations, and Shabbat. Please join us for storytelling, art, and song to connect the generations. This program is presented in partnership with the APJCC Center for Jewish Life and Learning, the APJCC Preschool, and An Ethical Start®.   • JCC Maccabi Games and JCC Maccabi ArtsFest (ages 13-16)
    Orange County, CA | August 4th-9th, 2013 in Orange County, California
    The APJCC will be sending a delegation of Jewish teens ages 13-16 from Silicon Valley to participate at this international Jewish teen sports and arts event in Orange County. The JCC Maccabi Games are an athletic competition and the JCC Maccabi ArtsFest is for budding visual and performing artists. All teens also take part in a day of Caring & Sharing, experience home hospitality, and visit major tourist sites. Cost is $1,500 for JCC members, $1,650 for non-members.
